Happy May day! As I type the sun is shining and the air full of the sound of the birds and bees. I'm planning lots of new things for the spring and summer so here is a quick update.
Thompson yoga 2nd and 9th May
Thompson yoga will be taking place tomorrow morning at 10.00am 2nd May in the garden at College Farm in Thompson as the Hall is being used for polling. There will be cake and coffee/tea afterwards with donations going to charity. No Thompson yoga next week week as we are off to Prague for our silver wedding anniversary so back to normal on 16th May.

I'm planning to share lots of tips and idea about being mindful and meditation - if you hope over to today's Instagram story you will see a little more. The basic aim is to try and find a little more time for ourselves everyday that makes us relax and be more present. many people are put off by the idea of meditation as they thing they will have to sit still with a blank mind for hours on end but that is not the case. If you haven't seen it already take a looks at my earlier post on mediation.
So to kick off today's mindful exercise is just to got outside where ever you are and just stand and listen to the sounds of spring all around us!
Summer workshop - Saturday 15th June
I'm thrilled to be running a summer workshop at Carbrooke village Hall on Saturday 15th June at Carbrooke along with aromatherapist Dawn Dean. The morning will consist of a lovely yoga practice to welcome the summer (lots of sun salutations!) and an introduction to the practice and benefits of aromatherapy by Dawn. She will also be setting up some hands on activities for you to try and take home with you including balm making, using reed diffusers and salt scrubs. Booking details will follow very soon!
I have had several requests for extra classes and will now be offering a Monday evening class at Carbrooke Village Hall on Monday evening from 7-8 starting on 3rd June. More information coming soon!
