First evening yoga class of British summer time and we were treated to a sunset and a moonrise at either end of the village hall! Perfect for our full moon practice
Another brilliant training weekend at The Shala in London with the fab Melanie Cooper. So much inspiration and knowledge and more wonderful yoga connections made!
It might not be a fancy studio but the village hall sure looked lovely for this morning’s class. We finished the session with a relaxation guided through the senses feeling the spring warmth and air coming through the windows and listening to birdsong!❤️
Another course successfully completed! That`s 170 of my 300 hours in the bag with another 30 to come next weekend @theshalalondon. Am so loving this next stage of my yoga journey!
A perfect spring morning in the sunshine on my walk to the village hall to teach yoga! I’ve trod this path very many times over the years! #yogateacher #yogaclasses #villagelife...
Hurrah for the first day of meteorological spring - and the sun is shining! We will breathe and flow with this new season in this months classes! And on 28th March I will be holding a sound journey following my recent course and qualification @theshalalondon with @anne_malone_oasis . Details are on my website.
What a fantastic journey it has been so far @theshalalondon for my 300 hour yoga training. So amazing to spend time learning, connecting and sharing space with so many wonderful people. 130 hours now in the bag - so looking forward to this weekend’s yin training with @yogawithnorman !
I always tell my classes that just 10 minutes gentle yoga first thing in the morning really does set yo up for the rest of the day!

So - I`ve been conducting a bit of research with my classes asking them about their yoga experiences. Over the coming weeks I`m going to be sharing some of the lovely feedback that I`ve been getting.
As we move away from the deepest depths of winter and into the promise of spring our theme this month is reawaken as we slowly emerge from the hibernation of January into the promise of warmer brighter days! Stick with me - I know it seems like a million miles away in the grey gloom that seems to be bedded in at the moment but take a moment outside to listen to the birds. Their calls are getting stronger and they know that change is on the way!
January was a busy month for all classes with lots of new people joining which I love! Some have practiced before while others are new to yoga. I was also back in London for another fantastic 4 day training course @theshalalondon with @gingi.lee and @melaniexcooper. I`ve now completed 130 hours of my 300 hour training and can`t praise the courses highly enough. And it is so amazing just to share space with so many like minded yoga practitioners. Back again in just over two weeks for the culmination of yin my training with the fab @melaniexcooper. Can`t wait!...
All classes start again next week (weather permitting!) Looking forward to seeing everyone back on the mat and to new yoga adventures in 2026 as I continue with my 300 hour training @theshalalondon .
